1. 1Mount above the doorway, tight to the lintel, no gap above the unit
2. 2Wire to a 230V switched circuit with a dedicated 6A MCB
3. 3Test air-flow direction — discharge should aim out, not into the room
4. 4Set door-switch interlock so the unit only runs when the door is open

Insect killers
AERSTER SAFE 30W / 60W / Glue-pad models
1. 1Hang at least 6 ft above floor, away from food prep surfaces
2. 2Avoid mounting near competing light sources (windows, exit signs)
3. 3Plug into a 230V outlet; no separate breaker required
4. 4Replace UV tubes annually; glue boards every 2–4 weeks

PVC strip curtains

1. 1Measure clear opening width and height precisely
2. 2Mount the bracket level — out of plumb causes uneven wear
3. 3Hang strips with 50% overlap (each strip overlaps half of the next)
4. 4Trim base 12 mm off the floor for cold-storage doorways

Pre-installation checklist

• 230V single-phase outlet within 2 m of mounting point
• Solid wall or lintel — no false ceilings without backing plate
• 6A MCB on a dedicated circuit (for air curtains)
• Door-switch / interlock wiring routed and labelled

Safety notes

• Always isolate the supply at the MCB before installing
• Use the supplied bracket — third-party brackets void warranty
• Do not run insect-killer units inside food-prep zones
• Ground the chassis on metal-housing units
